Cwmpas; is a social enterprise, Limited by Guarantee, Companies Registration No. 006671907; the aim of the enterprise is providing people centred communication services in an ethical and inclusive manner. The social enterprise is supporting Community Mediation Services – Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Cwmpas provides high quality mediation and related training focusing on the power of open communication.

Cwmpas staff team

Is a small dedicated and qualified team, comprising of Liz Aiken, C.E.O.  (Workplace and Community Mediator); Rose Spear, Mediation Coordinator (Family and Community Mediator); Sue Brooks (Training Coordinator and Community Mediator); Simon Vincent (Finance and Administration); Claire Perkins (Mediation Support Assistant); and Rachel Moss (Intern)

Cwmpas is based in a suite of offices, near to the centre of Pontypridd and easily accessible by public transport, the offices provide an ideal environment for constructive mediation and interactive training.

Cwmpas environmental commitment

Is an expression of responsible corporate citizenship, we are committed to improving our environmental performance so far as it is practicable to do so. This will include the minimisation of environmental impacts of our activities, through, for example, transport planning, management of waste etc.. It is policy of Cwmpas to comply fully with the requirements of environmental legislation and advisory codes of practice having official status.

Cwmpas is committed to the development of a ‘green’ transport strategy to encourage the use of energy-efficient public and communal transport, bicycles and walking, and to discourage unnecessary use of private motor transport for travelling to training venues. Whenever practicable our training courses will be held in locations with good public transportation links.
