How does it work?
The mediators talk to all parties separately to discuss the problem and explain the mediation process. If everyone agrees a joint meeting is set up, in a safe environment, between all the parties. The mediation meeting gives all sides the chance to discuss their problems and work together to seek a resolution. Mediators ensure that everyone’s views are respected. Uninterrupted talk-time gives everyone the chance to speak and be heard. Solutions are worked through by the parties and agreed these form part of a written agreement that everyone feels they can live with.
