Mediation in the Workplace
This course is especially relevant to HR Staff, Managers, and team leaders who wish to incorporate mediation into the workplace to reduce conflict through proactive solutions. The Gibbons Review highlights the power of mediation as a cost effective management tool. The Employment Act April 2009 has incorporated Alternative Dispute Resolution as part of an organisation’s process of managing grievances and disciplinaries. This one day course provides participants with an overview of Workplace mediation and its core principles and develops an understanding into why conflicts happen in the workplace and barriers to effective and open communications. The day will also explore workplace mediation as part of disciplinary and grievance policies and procedures.
